Just got back from the Midwest, and am trying to catch-up on my TiVo. Because I am so far behind on my tv-watching, I have become selective and only watch the shows that truly interest me. Therefore, I am happy to share my stand-out shows of the season:
Best NEW shows of the season:
- 30 Rock (Tina and Alec… ‘nuf said)
- Ugly Betty (Just need more Salma)
- Lost (I just finished Season One on DVD… so it’s new to me)
Best RETURN shows of the season:
- Boston Legal (Spader and Bergen all the way)
- The Office (The Gay Witch Hunt was the best 30 minutes of the Fall season)
- Desperate Housewives (Huffman is the best… unless Laurie Metcalf is in the scene)
- ER (John Stamos brings it back)
Wow, Jeffrey wins it. Here is my take on the Season 3 Finale:
- Jeffrey’s collection: I liked how the collection was presented; there was a natural flow to the presentation. That being said, I would not wear one piece he created. I guess he is not a designer for Silicon Valley working moms.
- Uli’s collection: I am not a target buyer for Uli, but I really liked this collection. This was a totally different color palate for her — neutrals?! Plus, I absolutely loved the swimsuit and cover-up.
- Laura’s collection: Beautiful! I loved this collection. Laura showed class and style. I especially loved the black suit.
- Michael’s collection: First of all, Michael is adorable. His collection was good, and I especially liked the bright orange outfit (even though I could never pull it off.)
Other things I learned this season:
- Heidi Klum looks even more fantastic when she is pregnant. (Not fair!)
- I will never be a designer, model or attendee of Olympus Fashion Week.
- The winner never creates clothes that I would actually wear.
