It’s Thursday night, and I am tired. Laptop is on my lap, CES plans are in my head, glass of red wine is by my side. Of course, I fired up the tube to catch some laptop television. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear? Saturday Night Live Christmas. And Schweaty Balls. I am laughing out loud and feel like sharing some holiday cheer:
I blogged about a contest for one of my favorite blogs "Mommy Needs a Cocktail," and now I am happy to link to the results here! My favorite maternity T-shirt — Designated Driver — is one of the winners.
Happy Hanukkah to my family and friends (and especially to you, Oma and Opa!) Enjoy this hilarious (and somewhat schmaltzy) Adam Sandler holiday classic!
Many of my favorite shows are running out of new episodes, so I have been cleaning out my TiVo and watching some of my favorite shows that I have not had time to watch. Top of my list (and my top recommendation) is 30 Rock. Honestly, the "Cougars" and "Amazing Race" episodes were laugh-out-loud funny. Comment to Ms. Tina Fey: I have always been one of your "dozens and dozens of viewers."
My other guilty pleasure (and this one is embarrassing) is The Biggest Loser. It does make for good Laptop Television, because I actually can get work done while watching this show. That said, it’s depressing to watch a show about getting healthy while I am sitting on my couch, laptop on my lap, glass of red wine at my side, and Almond M&Ms in my mouth.
Project Runway is back — perfect Laptop Television — and this season is good. I was cheering for hometown designer Chris and was sad to see him go this week. That said , I am anxious to see what happens with Jack next week. (BTW, I am a loyal Bluefly customer, so this season is a double treat for me!)
Finally, I can’t wait to watch the Holiday Top Chef that airs tonight. Top Chef is one of my favorites, especially if Sam is cooking in the kitchen.
