Found this cool spoof video with the activeion in it - if you read the cleaners claims it goes into "use as directed", would someone actually clean like that?

Funny video anyways - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4J17zY8jrHY

It really lights up when you use it? Something that's fun to use AND cleans things too? Count me in! You and LTV Dad look great! Sounds like a fun event.

We started putting our old swag t-shirts to use in place of paper towels for some of the dusting, polishing, and drying, etc. that we would have previously used paper towels for. Like the other comments, vinegar reigns supreme for us too.

cool! Love the idea, imagine a toy that inspires Stacy to clean windows. Now there's something to ponder. We also went/try to be green and switched out almost all our cleaning supplies to Method, Mrs Meyers and Seventh Generation - each works well in certain areas. we're stuck with laundry detergent though, would love suggestions, but with 2 boys, we need some serious scrubbing. Here's my "green" tip for outside (if that counts) - use vinegar (straight) to kill small popup weeds in sidewalk and driveway cracks, or after cooking up a batch of corn on the cob, pour the leftover boiling water on weeds - kills 'em good! We also keep baking soda on hand for scrubby jobs (instead of comet), plus its harmless enough to let the toddler use and feel like a big helper! Again, with 2 boys, training them to learn to clean their own bathrooms is high on my list of maternal duties. Start 'em young!

@Ann, if you have kids with chlorine hair (and who doesn't in the summer), go ahead and mix up your tip - create a paste of that vinegar (ideally cider) and baking soda and put it on the kids hair for a moment or two in the bath. Strips out the chlorine!

That sounds like too much fun...cleaning has never been fun...or inexpensive...I'm ready to try...or let Kara give it a go! My tip...baking soda and vinegar...talk about Bill Nye stuff...I don't use them together:) They work wonders on some of the most frustrating issues. We also had a new air filter added to our home and WOW, what a difference. We only have to rinse the filter once a month and we have had a big change. Our allergies issues in St. Louis have been dramatically reduced. Go GREEN MACHINE! Love ya Stacy! Hugs to everyone!

Wow! I'm impressed with your description of this product. I'm intrigued. I would really like to win one! :) My tip for keeping a clean and green home.... let's see.... it is a great idea and I need to do a better job. Living in Nebraska we sometimes forget about the impact of our carbon footprint.

Here's my best TIP for keeping a clean and green home: For window and mirror washing, use old newspapers instead of paper towels. You'll be using the newspaper twice and will therefore be more environmentally conscious, you can still recycle the newspaper after you've used it to clean the window, and it won't leave white fuzzies on windows. In the olden days, before paper towels, people used newspapers to clean windows. Yes, it leaves black smudges on your hands, but you can always wash it off. Mainly, it works and is more in keeping with responsible stewardship. Try it!

Wow - rarely do cleaning supplies fire me up but this one truly sounds innovative and cool. I, too, try to buy cleaning products that are environmentally friendly, but the results are always hit and miss, which is frustrating since they tend to cost more! It is refreshing to read about this new offering that DOES work, and is pro-environment, while evoking such fun childhood memories. Thank you Stacy!
