I agree, going from preschool to a big public school is hard. The other kids look so big and there are many things out of your control. But it's an amazing time. They learn so much and they're not the same little guys by the end of the year.

No doubt this year will be full of new adventures for your whole family. Your daughter is lucky to have a mom quietly watching and helping her make good choices so when the time comes for her to make them on her own, you know she'll do the same.

Good luck!

Ouch. It's so true, the first day of Kindergarten is a magical, sad, happy day. But so is the first day of first grade, second grade... the first time she stands up in class, the first time she uses a Southern accent (oh wait..), the first time she takes a test.

There are so many firsts ahead of you, not the least of which are all firsts your little family will experience together on this new journey.

Miss you! xoxo s2+2
