I'm one of the jealous ones. I always wanted to live in Austin so I could regularly pop in at Austin City Limits (they give away tickets on the website http://www.austincitylimits.org/). Congratulations on your new adventure. Best of luck!

Hi Stacy!

I'm just now visiting and making my way around- welcome to Austin! I'm a born and bred Texan and yet, I still do not own one pair of cowboy boots.

I love living in Austin- went to school here, lived in Houston for a number of years and then moved back in 2005. If you have ANY questions about this wonderful city, I am sure that I can help you....even with cool neighborhoods to live in. I hope you are happy with your decision- Texans are a friendly bunch (and we have the best Tex Mex food around).

Hook 'Em Horns!!!

I'm a UT grad back from the day people whispered about the kid Michael Dell, who quit school because he was moving beyond selling computers form his dorm room. I am that old.

OMG! I saw the mention of a new city on your back-to-school post. Thank goodness for the Motherboard, right?

Wow. Good luck as you settle in and move ahead!

Hi, I met you at BlogHer10 on the 26th floor waiting for the elevator. I am just now getting around to checking out all the websites from the business cards I collected there.
I remembered that you are from IA - I am in MN, but lived in IA for 3 yrs prior to moving here. But I am from TX, born in Austin, raised all over the great state for 22 yrs. I hope you will find the people warm and friendly. I am a little biased, but I truly think that Texans are some of the most friendly people on earth. Good luck to you in your new home. Love your site.
