Yes, I have been MIA. My dad died recently, so I have been distracted with things more important than blogging. Life is returning to normal, which means I have been playing with my kid, working, watching a little TV and finally blogging.
Here’s what keeping my short attention span these days:
- Pasha and Lauren leave SYTYCD. I hate to brag, but I predicted that one. I think this week’s finale is really between Danny and Lacy. Hmmm, my gut says Danny will win. I’ll make a stronger prediction after this Wednesday’s show.
- Sara leaves Top Chef. I used to like her, but she was so whiny this week. And the show’s producers obviously like keeping Howie around for conflict and entertainment.
- Big Love is better than ever. Now that I am caught up, this season is fantastic. And I just discovered it’s moving to Sunday night (the old Sopranos slot?)
- Jon Stewart is the funniest guy on TV. Late (and sleepless) nights finally have an upside… Jon is pure entertainment.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Yes, 12+ hours of plane and airport time is plenty of time to read (and enjoy) the best Harry Potter book in the series. I always loved book number four, but the seventh (and last) Potter book is simply the best. I could not put it down and did not want it to end. Simply awesome.
That’s about it… I should be back in action fairly quickly.
Anyone know when Project Runway starts???
