It’s hard to believe we are closing 2007 and welcoming 2008. Here’s LTV’s look at the past year:
The Good
- Each moment with my three-year-old daughter and (most) moments with my husband.
- Celebrating the life of my dad, who sadly died in July.
- Every moment I can be with my mom and sisters (and aunts and uncles and cousins).
- Sigh, a wonderful family trip to Maui.
- Iowans continue to make me proud: Shawn Johnson is named a Sports Illustrated "Female Athlete of the Year" and Zach Johnson wins the Masters.
- Reading Eat, Pray, Love.
- All eyes (political and otherwise) are on Des Moines.
The Bad
- Shawn Hornbeck goes through hell. (I wish you healing, health and happiness, Shawn.)
- There was a nightmare at Virginia Tech University.
- Oil and gas prices are shocking.
The Ugly
Just trying to squeeze in some television between mothering, working and crashing.
