Here are the headlines catching my eye today.  Lots happening in the world of mindless pop culture:

• Harry Potter faces evil, angst in "Phoenix" (My favorite book of the series, let’s hope it’s my favorite movie too!)
• Nation’s Springfields vie for ‘Simpsons’ (Simpsons movie comes out July 26… oh  yeah, I will see it.  The Simpsons reminds me of my college days when we would order pizza on Sunday nights — no food service in the dorms — and meet at the DU house to watch the show.)
• Rosie O’Donnel wants ‘Price" Job (Hmmmm… that would be a big change from Bob Barker.)
• Larroquette In, Four Dismissed on Boston Legal (As long as my favorite drama stays on the air…)
• Paul Reubens and Pee-Wee Herman are back (Where’s the basement?)
• Actor Marton re-ups with "Law" squad (So happy my not-so-secret crush is staying on the air!)
• Woods’ wife gives birth to a daughter (Welcome to the world, little Cub. Tiger and Elin, welcome to the wonderful world of baby girls!)
• Julia Roberts gives birth to a baby boy (Baby #3?  Bless you!)
