Re: Miley. Maybe they were trying to recreate the pure moment of birth (when the baby had lipstick and concealer), when child is wrapped in a blanket (ummm or satin sheet) and displayed for all the world to see (inappropriately, that is).

Sincerely tho - I wouldn't have scrutinized as harshly if the parents hadn't tried to shirk responsibility. Why couldn't they say something like... We got caught up in the excitement of an (adult) artistic moment that did not seem so intimate at the moment with hordes of assistants, make up and hair artists and photographers surrounding us and used poor judgement on how far to take it... I don't know, SOMETHING to show that they're willing to take some sort of responsibility for approving the photos.
