I’ve actually had a similiar experience with Ksara Chateau 2003 and good friends. Since then I’ve got the opportunity to taste it on several occasions. Isn’t it wonderful making new friends?

Isn't it great to stretch a bit and find something new? I couldn't find a Calif Chardonnay in Edinburgh so the kind shopkeeper at "Oddbins" love that name, pointed me towards a French or a New Zealand. I bought both bottles (just to be on the safe side) and they were wonderful! Would have never done that here at home, as I tend to gravitate towards what I know. But when circumstances require, it's fantasic fun to explore!
